My Ray of Light fandub

"Ray of Light" is the fifth ending theme of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I wasn't crazy about this song at first; but when I took time to really listen to it, I was struck by the lovely harmonies and how beautifully melodic it was. And once I looked up some english translations of the lyrics, I thought, "Wow, there's some beautiful emotion in this." It's angsty, but also hopeful; and that's a mix I can never resist.

I also couldn't get past how insanely Conqueror-of-Shamballa-ish the lyrics felt; it sounds so much like Ed stuck in our world, missing his brother and trying to find a way back to him. Possibly Winry, too. I think this works great for EdWin AND the Elric brotherly love we all adore. (In other words, I'm shamelessly fangirly for both and I'LL READ ANYTHING INTO THIS SONG THAT I WANT, KAY??)

BTW...none of those "alleluia's" are in the original, but the word the singer was singing sounded awfully similar to it and I couldn't get it out of my brain. And it sounded pretty. So I put it in. Sue me.
